My high school friend Suzie and her husband just moved back to GF from Minneapolis. Suzie and Al were the first to marry and the first to have a child. Micah is 16 months old and I am super excited to have the Benjamins back in G-Funk. This morning I watched Micah for Suzie. Micah and I went for a run and played at the playground. Micah loved everything except leaving the playground. Suzie has a little girl in her oven who is due in December.

This weekend was my 10 year high school reunion. I loved high school, but when I got the invitation I was a bit overwhelmed with the number of events- Friday night mixer with the other (rougher) high school, Saturday picnic, school tour, and Saturday night event. I ended up partaking everything except the school tour and had a blast. Being back in ND, I get to see my closest friends fairly often, but it was fun to see my other classmates. I am duly impressed with how far everyone has come- we have doctors, lawyers, teachers, professional athletes, business owners and psychologists. No one has died and several have served in the military. We have five couples who married their high school sweethearts and I loved seeing everyone's children. One classmate has already had four children! Out of 330 in my class, 160 showed up.
Picnic with Katie
North Dakota girls, we're unforgettable
We ended the night at our old stomping grounds, the Red Pepper. Luckily there were no punches thrown over the white sauce.
On a side note, the bars went smoke-free at midnight, which is super exciting for me.
