When I took the law office intern position this summer, I never discussed when I would stop working. As I continued to work there, I learned they sort of expected me to stay there the rest of my law school career. So, since I don't like confrontation, I just skirted around the issue. Today, I gave my notice that my last day will be the 23rd of this month. Woo-hoo!
That will give me one week to study for each of my finals. I will also have time to go to North Carolina with Jack and Jacob. After North Carolina, Jack and I are flying to NYC and will meet his mother there. Then I'll have one week to start researching for my law review article before school starts.
I am taking Big Apple recommendations. I have not been to NYC since I was 6 years old, so please give me your tips and go to places. I want to see it all. Visiting NYC with Jack's mother should be be interesting. It seems his mom has been many times so she may less than enthused to see all the things I want to see. Thank goodness for cell phones. I suspect Jack and I will be on the go and his mom can meet us "later." Her name is Mary (just like my mom)!
