The Bears made it to the Sweet 16! Even though the game was not televised in North Dakota, I got to watch the score ticker at the top of the screen while I watched Northern Iowa beat Kansas. I now have a crush on Northern Iowa player #5 Ali Farokhmanesh. I text messaged a friend who is in law school/who I went to high school with/who was at the game/and who played basketball for Northern Iowa, asking him if I was too old for Ali. He responded that he would check into it for me. However, with a quick facebook search, I learned Ali is in a relationship with some Kayla girl. Whatever.
Plus, the UND Fighting Sioux won their regional conference for hockey last night.
All in all, Saturday was a good day for my teams.
